The Women's Premier League, also known as WPL is a women's Twenty20 cricket franchise league in India. It is owned and operated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The first season, played in March 2023, the Mumbai Indians won the inaugural title.

The second season, conducted in February–March 2024, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the title.

The third season, conducted in February-March 2025, and Mumbai Indians wins the title on 15th March.

The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 was the third edition of India's premier women's T20 cricket tournament, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The league, held from February 14 to March 15, featured five teams: Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, UP Warriorz, and Gujarat Giants. The competition took place across four venues: Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Vadodara.

Tournament Format

Mumbai Indians dominated the group stage, securing the top position and automatic qualification for the final. Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore also put in strong performances, earning their spots in the playoffs. In the Eliminator, Delhi Capitals emerged victorious over Royal Challengers Bangalore, setting up a final clash with Mumbai Indians.

Grand Finale

The final took place on March 15 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. In a closely contested match, Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by eight runs to claim their second WPL title. This marked Delhi Capitals’ third consecutive loss in the final, showcasing the league’s competitive nature.
